WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-New Mexico, issued the following news release:
Senators Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and Ben Ray Lujan (D-N.M.), a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, applauded the Senate passage of a bipartisan resolution recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month which is celebrated from September 15 through October 15. Led by U.S. Senators Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas), the Senate passed the resolution on Wednesday.
