WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 -- Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Alabama, issued the following news release:
Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) joined U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Jack Reed (D-RI) in cosponsoring a bipartisan resolution to designate September 2024 as National Literacy Month.
According to a 2020 study in partnership with the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy, it is estimated that low levels of adult literacy could be costing America as much as $2.2 trill . . .
