PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pennsylvania, Sept. 6 (TNSres) -- The ECRI Institute issued the following news release:

At least 1 in 20 US adults experiences a diagnostic error each year, according to a 2017 study. Another study estimated that 795,000 Americans experience permanent disability or death each year due to misdiagnosis of dangerous diseases.
