WASHINGTON, Sept. 5 -- Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar, Ph.D. (TX-28) announced over $6 million in federal funding to support Laredo in regards to irregular migration. These funds were provided from the fiscal year 2024 Shelter and Services (SSP) Program, a program Congressman Cuellar started in 2014. The City of Laredo will receive $3,096,483 and Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Laredo will receive $3,095,391 . . .
