SCHAUMBURG, Illinois, Aug. 30 -- The Society of Actuaries issued the following news release:

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) has designated the actuarial programs at Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, and Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, TN, as SOA Centers of Actuarial Excellence (CAE). The SOA launched the CAE designation in 2009, recognizing universities around the world for their strong actuarial programs.
