BernCo Unveils New Initiative for Recycling Cigarette Butts

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, Aug. 28 -- Bernalillo County issued the following news release:

Keep BernCo Beautiful and county staff, alongside District 2 Commissioner Steven Michael Quezada unveiled a new initiative today for recycling cigarette butts called Breaking Butts.

The program is aimed at collecting and recycling cigarette butts throughout the county using recycling receptacles. BernCo Public Works Division staff will collect and send the cigarette butts off to rec . . .
