WASHINGTON, Aug. 19 -- Rep. Greg Stanton, D-Arizona, issued the following news release:
PHOENIX--U.S. Representatives Greg Stanton (D-Ariz.) and Tony Gonzales (R-Texas) last week introduced the Border Weather Resiliency Act. This legislation would require Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to assess and submit a strategy to mitigate the impacts of extreme weather on personnel, infrastructure, technology, vehicles, and other assets.
