GULFPORT, Mississippi, Aug. 14 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi issued the following news release:
A former Biloxi City Councilman was sentenced to 72 months in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled substance.
According to court documents and information presented to the court, in 2019, Robert Leon Deming, III, 47, founded the Candy Shop, LLC to operate Candy Shop stores in Mississip . . .
