WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 -- Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, released the following remarks from a July 25, 2024, open executive session on U.S. Tax Court nominations:

"Today we consider the nominations of Jeffrey Arbeit, Cathy Fung, and Benjamin Guider to be judges on the United States Tax Court.
