OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, Aug. 8 -- Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond issued the following news release on Aug. 7, 2024:
Attorney General Gentner Drummond said he is disappointed by the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board's 3-2 vote today recommending clemency for Emmanuel Littlejohn.
The death row inmate was convicted of brutally murdering 31-year-old Kenny Meers during a convenience store robbery in June 1992. His execution is scheduled for Sept. 26.
