LAREDO, Texas, Aug. 6 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas issued the following news release:
A federal grand jury has returned an indictment against a 31-year-old former resident of Laredo for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl which caused the death of another, announced U.S. Attorney Alamdar S. Hamdani.
Authorities have arrested Rene Antonio Melendez in Appleton, Wisconsin. He will make his initial appearance before a U.S. magistrate j . . .
