WASHINGTON, Aug. 3 -- Rep. Wesley Hunt, R-Texas, issued the following news release on Aug. 2, 2024:

Today, Congressman Wesley Hunt's legislation H.R. 7377 - The Royalty Resiliency Act passed the United States House of Representatives. This bill amends the Federal Oil and Gas Royalty Management Act of 1982 to improve the management of royalties from oil and gas leases, and for other purposes.

Currently, until a communization agreement (CA) is approved by DOI the lessee . . .
