WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release:
Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced New Orleans and Calcasieu Parish will receive $4,574,736.35 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in flood protection and emergency preparedness.
"The best way to prevent future devastation is to put precautions in place like these wind retrofits, generators, and stormwater drainage systems," said Dr. Cassidy. " . . .
