Washington (August 1, 2024) Senator Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) released the following statement on his vote in favor of the Tax Relief for American Workers and Families Act.
"It is a no-brainer to support expansion of the child tax credit so that we can lift 500,000 children out of poverty and boost incomes to benefit 16 million children across the country, including 18 . . .
