WASHINGTON, July 31 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection issued the following news release:
INDIO, Calif. El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a 28-year-old female U.S. citizen for smuggling approximately 51 pounds of methamphetamine. The total value of the drugs seized is estimated to be $83,312.
