WASHINGTON, July 31 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, issued the following news:
U.S. Senators John Cornyn (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT) introduced the Silencers Helping Us Save Hearing (SHUSH) Act, which would eliminate the excessive regulation of firearm suppressors by simplifying the purchase process for law-abiding citizens and reducing unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles:
