WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Rep. Dusty Johnson, R-South Dakota, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) and U.S. Sens. John Thune (R-S.D.) and Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) recently urged President Biden to issue a major disaster declaration for the state of South Dakota following the severe storms and flooding from June 16 through July 8, 2024.
"In light of these considerations, we respectfully request that you expeditiously review . . .
