OXFORD, Mississippi, July 29 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Mississippi issued the following news release:
A Caledonia man was sentenced today to 18 months in prison for receiving $800,000 in fraudulent Economic Injury Disaster Loans related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to court documents, Herman Nash, 63, applied for three separate loans and received a total of $800,000. Nash claimed the loans for a business that did not exist. N . . .
