LAKEWOOD, Colorado, July 20 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Colorado Field Office issued the following news release:
The number of cattle and calves on feed for the slaughter market in Colorado feedlots with a capacity of 1,000 head or larger was estimated at 970,000 head as of July 1, 2024.
