MACON, Georgia, July 20 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia issued the following news release on July 18, 2024:
A Macon man who broke out of the Bibb County Jail in 2023 as he was awaiting federal sentencing for armed drug trafficking pleaded guilty to escaping from custody today.
