OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, July 18 -- Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond issued the following news release on July 17, 2024:
Attorney General Gentner Drummond today appealed a preliminary injunction issued by a federal judge late last month to halt enforcement of Oklahoma's tough new immigration reform law.
House Bill 4156 is designed to crack down on the state's illegal marijuana farms by enabling state law enforcement to detain and incarcerate illegal immigrants . . .
