MONTGOMERY, Alabama, July 18 -- The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs issued the following news release:
Gov. Kay Ivey has awarded a $180,000 grant to bring a new industry and jobs to Dale County.
The Community Development Block Grant will be used to provide infrastructure for Averitt Express to locate in the county and create 20 jobs. Averitt Express, a freight transportation company, plans to construct a 21,200-square-foot building on Dale County Ro . . .
