FEMA Authorizes Funds to Fight Texas Fire in Idaho

WASHINGTON, July 17 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:

BOTHELL, Wash. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) authorized the use of federal funds to help with firefighting costs for the Texas Fire burning in Latah and Nez Perce Counties, Idaho.

The state of Idaho's request for a federal Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) was approved by FEMA Region 10 Administrator Willie G. Nunn . . .
