WASHINGTON, July 16 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release:
Senate Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $6,748,398.58 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in flood and Hurricane Ida relief.
"Louisiana is stronger than any hurricane or storm," said Dr. Cassidy. "This funding will help South Louisiana rebuild from past weather events and prepare for future ones."
