GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania, July 17 -- Thiel College issued the following news release:
Thiel College graduate and women's basketball coach Jessica Vormelker '19 has been named the Senior Woman Administrator. Her appointment began July 1.
The Senior Woman Administrator is the highest-ranking female involved in the management of an institution's intercollegiate athletics program. NCAA membership voted to create the the designation in 1981.
