WASHINGTON, July 15 -- George Washington University issued the following news:
Former President Donald Trump escaped an assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. A gunman, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, fired multiple shots, one skimming Trump's ear. Trump was swiftly protected by Secret Service agents and raised his fist to supporters before being escorted away.
The incident, which resulted in one attendee's death and two injuries . . .
