WASHINGTON, July 10 -- Rep. Monica de la Cruz, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz (TX-15) wrote to Mexican President-Elect Claudia Sheinbaum on Monday, July 8th, requesting a meeting to address water deliveries owed to the United States under the 1944 Water Treaty. As of June 29th, the Mexican government owes the United States 896,567 acre feet of water.
