WASHINGTON, July 10 -- Rep. Abigail Spanberger, D-Virginia, issued the following news release:
U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger joined a bipartisan group of her colleagues in supporting the research, development, and funding of initiatives to combat the flow of fentanyl and other contraband at our borders.
In 2022, there were 2,490 drug overdose deaths in Virginia -- and 79 percent of these deaths involved fentanyl, fentanyl analogs, and tramadol. Border security . . .
