WASHINGTON, July 9 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia issued the following news release:
A Texas woman pleaded guilty on July 8, 2024, to assaulting law enforcement during the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol. Her actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election.
