Today, Rep. Barry Moore supported two pieces of legislation aimed at protecting consumers from costly and impractical energy standards. The Stop Unaffordable Dishwasher Standards Act(link is external) and the Refrigerator Freedom Act(link is external) seek to limit the Department of Energy's (DOE) authority to enforce energy conservation standards that are not technologically feasible or economical . . .
