WASHINGTON, July 8 -- Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, issued the following news release:

Today, Congressman Henry Cuellar, Ph.D. (TX-28) secured $110,000,000 for VIA's Advanced Rapid Transit North/South Corridor Project in the FY25 House Transportation appropriations bill.

The federal dollars will help create a 10.35-mile bus rapid transit (BRT) line from the San Antonio International Airport through downtown San Antonio to Steves Avenue in the Southside. The Project will . . .
