WASHINGTON, July 6 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Geological Survey issued the following news release:
While severe weather disaster declarations have already been issued for 40 Texas counties, coastal change experts at the U.S. Geological Survey are forecasting Beryl might do some damage to Texas' coastline.
Beryl is currently likely to cause 68% of Texas' coastal sand dunes some erosion, 16% of dunes may experience overwash (when waves and water levels . . .
