NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, July 4 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana issued the following news release:
GERARD TURNER ("TURNER"), age 22, a resident of New Orleans, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Wendy B. Vitter to 87 months in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release, along with a $400 mandatory special assessment fee, after previously pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, in violation . . .
