WASHINGTON, July 2 -- Sen. Gary Peters, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Senators Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow applauded a $20,704,712 investment from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to construct two shared-use paths within the City of Detroit. The paths will be constructed on Woodmere Street between Fort Street and Vernor Highway and on Dequindre Street between Mack Avenue and Warren Avenue - connecting both areas to the Joe Louis Greenway and Iron Bell . . .
