CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia, June 28 -- The Southern Environmental Law Center issued the following news release:
Today, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management finalized a sale notice for wind leases offshore of the Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware coasts, an action that specifies the final areas for sale, lays out details of the auction and bidding process, and names eligible bidders. In a minimum of 30 days, the lease areas will be auctioned for offshore wind development.
