SIGNAL HILL, California, June 27 -- The Food and Water Watch issued the following news release on June 25, 2024:
Last night the City of Signal Hill held a second public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for Signal Hill Petroleum's proposed oil drilling expansion which would extend existing drilling operations by 20 years and add 46 new oil wells. The City of Signal Hill currently has over 500 oil wells.
