MONTGOMERY, Alabama, June 15 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama issued the following news release on June 14, 2024:

United States Attorney Jonathan S. Ross for the Middle District of Alabama, joins national, state, local, and Tribal leaders today in recognizing World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Since 2006, this day has promoted awareness of the many forms of elder abuse as well as the resources available to those at risk.
