WASHINGTON, June 13 -- Sen. Tim Scott, R-South Carolina, issued the following news release:

Today, U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) joined Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and 27 of their Senate Republican colleagues in penning a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland condemning the evisceration of the American judicial process and the conviction of former President Donald Trump in Manhattan.
