WASHINGTON, June 14 -- Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-New Mexico, issued the following news release:
The Indian Buffalo Management Act, legislation championed by U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), received a key hearing before the Senate Committeeon Indian Affairs this week. The legislation would help promote and support Tribalmanagement of buffalo herds.
