IRVING, Texas, June 14 -- The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame issued the following news release:
Homer Rice, the legendary player, coach and athletics administrator, including 18 years as the athletics director at Georgia Tech, passed June 10. He was 97, and he was scheduled to be inducted into the National Football Foundation Leadership Hall of Fame on June 20.
