Womack Votes to Hold AG Garland in Contempt of Congress

WASHINGTON, June 12 -- Rep. Steve Womack, R-Arkansas, issued the following news release:

Today, the U.S. House of Representatives adopted a resolution recommending that the House find U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for refusal to comply with subpoena duly issued by the Committee on the Judiciary. Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) voted in support of the measure.
