WASHINGTON, June 12 (TNSres) -- Consumer Reports issued the following news release on June 11, 2024:

Under a new proposed rule announced by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) today, credit reporting agencies will be prohibited from listing medical debt on consumers' credit reports.
