ADA, Oklahoma, June 12 -- The Chickasaw Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:
Chickasaw Nation Election Secretary Rita Loder announced candidates seeking five legislative seats and one judicial seat within the Chickasaw Nation.
Pickens District Seat 4 challenger Wanda Blackwood Tippitt Scott, Ardmore, filed for the seat during the June 3-5 filing period and has since withdrawn her candidacy.
