AUGUSTA, Georgia, June 11 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia issued the following news release:

Two Georgia siblings have been sentenced to federal prison and ordered to repay stolen funds after pleading guilty in a fraud conspiracy.

La'Kyera Me'Lika Thurmond, 35, of Snellville, Ga., and Brandon Jamal Thurmond, 34, of Lilburn, Ga., were sentenced in U.S. District Court after pleading guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud, said Ji . . .
