AUSTIN, Texas, June 8 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release on June 7, 2024:
Governor Greg Abbott today announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has approved 36 additional Texas counties for the Presidential Disaster Declaration for severe weather and flooding that began on April 26.
