WASHINGTON, June 6 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation issued the following news release:
LOVELAND, Colo. -- The Bureau of Reclamation anticipates that Big Thompson River flows will increase to between 850 and 900 cubic feet per second beginning tonight and reach approximately 1,100 cubic feet per second by late Sunday night.
Quickly rising temperatures and deeper-than-normal June snowpack have rapidly increased the volume of snowmelt flowing . . .
