JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas, June 6 -- The U.S. Air Force Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (16th Air Force) issued the following news:
The term D-Day was a shorthand expression first used in World War I to denote the date an operation was to be launched.
