WASHINGTON, May 31 -- Rep. Angie Craig, D-Minnesota, issued the following news release:

EAGAN, MN - Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig announced $500,000 to improve the Merriam Junction Regional Trail.

Rep. Craig worked with Scott County's local leaders to secure the funding needed to convert 2.2 miles of land into a resilient regional multi-use, accessible destination trail connecting Scott and Carver counties along the Minnesota River.
