MIAMI, Florida, May 31 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Markenzy Lapointe, issued the following news release on May 30, 2024:

A Florida man was sentenced yesterday to 96 months in federal prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, by U.S. District Judge Raag Singhal, after admitting his role in a multimillion-dollar durable medical equipment (DME) kickback scheme and pleading guilty to carrying out a COVID-19 fraud scheme and being a felon . . .
