WASHINGTON, May 23 -- The White House Office of Management and Budget issued the following statement of administration policy on May 21, 2024, a joint resolution (S.J.Res. 58) providing for Congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the Department of Energy relating to "Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Consumer Furnaces". The resolution was introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and 36 cosponsors.
